Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly expressed on Saturday appreciation for the existing cooperation between the Egyptian government and Italy’s Eni company, saying this cooperation has continued despite economic challenges the Egyptian government faced over the past period.
Madbouly made the remarks during his meeting with Head of North Africa and Levant Region at Eni company Martina Opizzi on the sidelines of the ongoing Egypt-EU Investment Conference.
He expressed his support of all foreign companies operating in the petroleum and natural gas domains in Egypt, reiterating commitment to meeting all obligations towards foreign partners in these vital sectors.
Opizzi said Egypt is an important partner to Eni company, voicing keenness to continue working with the Egyptian government to enhance such cooperation within the coming period.
