Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has followed up on progress in the implementation of the first phase of the Decent Life initiative and ongoing preparations for the start of the second phase.
He stressed the government’s keenness on completing the projects of the first phase of the presidential initiative and the entry of more of them into service as well as expanding the base of beneficiaries.
In addition, he followed up on arrangements for starting the implementation of the second phase during the next fiscal year.
This came during a meeting he held Sunday to check on the executive status of the first phase of the initiative that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside and improve the quality of life of rural communities across the country.
The premier stressed the need to complete all projects being implemented within the framework of the first phase according to the specified timetables.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the executive position of these projects, which are being carried out in many sectors in the targeted 1,477 villages, in 20 governorates, the Cabinet’s spokesperson Mohamed el-Homsany, said.
