The Madame Tussauds Museum in London on Thursday unveiled a new wax statue that made for Egyptian football star Mohamed Salah, the first of its kind for an Arab player in the famous British Museum.

The museum’s official account uploaded photos of Salah next to his wax statue, captioned: “Fresh off the pitch and red carpet ready, the King of Egypt has arrived.”
Salah’s statue wears a white suit, and raises his hand to the sky – a reference to his usual celebration on scoring goals.
The museum in London announced in January 2020 that it was preparing a wax statue of Salah.
