Finance Minister Mohamed Maait said that the total value of goods released from customs outlets hit 56.7 billion dollars from the beginning of January, 2023, until mid-October.
The released commodities include strategic goods, supplies and services for production in a move meant to stimulate investments amid current economic challenges worldwide, he added in statements on Saturday 21/10/2023.
The minister said committees and technical support teams were formed to facilitate customs procedures in various outlets and ports.
