English club Liverpool FC announced on Friday that it has renewed Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s contract, ending recent doubts about his future.
According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, Salah will receive a weekly salary of £350,000 under the new contract.
Talksport also reported that the salary could reach £400,000 per week when additional incentives are taken into account.
It noted that Salah must meet certain conditions to qualify for these bonuses, which would increase his weekly salary by £50,000.
Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 from Roma for €42 million, becoming a club legend during his eight years with the club. Since joining, the Egyptian has scored 243 goals and provided 111 assists in 394 appearances for the team.
