Youm7 news website reported that Ibrahim Adel, player of the Egyptian Olympic team, and Pyramids club, may move to Liverpool FC of the English Premier League.
Liverpool are taking a keen interest in Egyptian winger, who is being hailed as ‘the next Mohamed Salah’, 90min reported.
Youm7 said that Adel may eventually land at one of the English clubs by January.
It added that the 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Europe for over a year since making his debut for the senior squad.
Adel was the subject of a bid from Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland over the summer.
They tried to buy him with a two million euro offer, but came someway short of Pyramids’ valuation, which is believed to be at least five million euros plus add-ons, 90min said.
