Wolverhampton Wanderers player Alvin Ayman has officially announced that he will join Liverpool FC during the summer transfer period.
The Reds had previously reached an agreement with the 16-year-old, who holds English citizenship and is of Egyptian origin.
Posting a picture of the defender signing his contract, Ayman wrote on Saturday: “New beginnings Liverpool FC. Would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Wolves for helping me develop over the past 2 years. God is good.”
Previous media reports indicated that Liverpool had completed the deal for Ayman from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and he signed a five-year contract at a cost of £2m.
Ayman is scheduled to start with the Under-18 team under Mark Bridge-Wilkinson, and will later be promoted to the Under-21 team under Barry Lotas.
The young player joined Wolverhampton youth during the summer of 2023, but quickly caught the attention of Liverpool FC to join the Reds.
