The wealth of former President Hosni Mubarak amounts to slightly more than LE6 million, a Kuwaiti newspaper quoted his lawyer as saying.
According to an Al-Seyasa story published Wednesday, Farid al-Deeb said all reported figures of Mubarak's wealth are exaggerated.
Mubarak is keeping his money at the Heliopolis branch of the Ahly Bank of Egypt, Deeb said.
"This is the sum of Mubarak's savings over 62 years since his graduation from the Air Force in 1949," he told the paper.
Meanwhile, the Swiss Foreign Ministry in May said it had tracked transactions linked to Mubarak amounting to 410 million Swiss francs, or about LE 2.86 billion.
