The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects high chances for rainfall and thunder in some governorates, with temperatures to fall across the country for the final days of the Coptic month of Meshir, which ends on March 9.
Weather maps showcase chances of rain of varying intensity across different areas in the north of the country, accompanied by a slight drop in temperatures throughout the nation from two to four degrees.
The latest satellite images revealed continued proliferation of low and medium rain clouds in scattered areas in the northern parts of the country, and the opportunity is ripe for light rain to fall in areas of Greater Cairo.
