Kuwaiti authorities Tuesday morning executed Egyptian nationals Ahmed Abdel Salam, convicted of murder in 2009, and Haggag Mohamed al-Saady, convicted of rape in 2006, according to the Turkish Anadolu news agency.
Saady’s mother was allowed to see her son for a few minutes before the sentences were carried out in the presence of a judge, a preacher, representatives of local newspapers, and a number of police officers.
