Police in Ismailia arrested two people who allegdly killed a 7-year-old child after receiving ransom from his family for his release.
Mostafa M. filed a claim saying his son Mahmoud was kidnapped and that he received a call from an anonymous person demanding LE25,000 as ransom.
The body of Mahmoud was found lying on the side of the road and wrapped in a blanket at the entrance of Saadia village.
According to investigations, the perpetrators were a driver and his wife. They were arrested and the case remains under investigation.
