Famous Egyptian actor Khaled Aboul Naga recently commented on the anniversary of the 25 January revolution, predicting more arrests and demonstrations as the country still comes to grip with the politically polarizing day.
“Some will go to prison, some will go out of prison,” he said. “Others will celebrate, yet others will demonstrate.”
Aboul Naga won the Best Actor Award at the Cairo Film Festival despite intense media attacks on him for criticizing the performance of President Sisi. He faces complaints filed with the prosecutor general.
