The Heliopolis Misdemeanor Appeal Court reduced actor Maged al-Kedwany's sentence from two months to 24 hours Sunday. He was accused of beating a gas station worker.
Investigations revealed that a woman who with Kedwany went to the bathroom of a gas station on Salah Salem Street in Heliopolis and did not turn on the red sign indicating the bathroom is occupied. When the worker opened the door, not knowing there was someone inside, he saw the woman and rushed out immediately, but Kedwany chased him and hit him in the face.
