Popular Iraqi singer Kazim al-Saher, called the Caesar of the Arab world, launched on Thursday his new album under the name "Raw'e Nizar Qabbani" (Nizar Qabbani's Masterpieces).
The album includes 11 songs previously presented by Saher for the deceased poet Nizar Qabbani, including Ahebiny bela Oqaden, Taqolin al-Hawa, Fi Madrasat-il-Hob, al-Rasmo bel Kalimat, Hal Endaky Shakk, Ila Telmiza, Sabahoki Sokkar, Taharaky, Inni Ohiboki, Habibaty and Zidini Ishqan.
Saher will be participating in a TV series directed by Safwan Mostafa. Saher's voice will narrate stories throughout the series but he will not appear in person in the series. The series will be shot in Dubai and Egypt.
Saher will appear in "The Voice" singing contest program on MBC Channel starting Saturday as a member of the jury.
