Egyptian actor Karim Abdel-Aziz announced that work is underway on a new film with actor Ahmed Ezz, following their last pairing in “Kira & El Gin.”
During an interview with TV host Amr Adib on the “al-Hekaya” (The Story) show on MBC Masr channel, Abdel-Aziz said: “We are preparing something new.”
“We are preparing several works with His Excellency the Advisor (Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority) and there are meetings because there will be surprises soon, and there is something for me and Ahmed Ezz together again.”
Abdel-Aziz’s previous project was the movie “Welad Rizk III” (2024), where he participated as a guest of honor.
The film, directed by Tarek al-Eryan and produced by Ahmed al-Sobky, features Egyptian actors Asser Yassin, Maged al-Kedwany joining the star-studded cast of Ahmed Ezz, Amr Youssef, Ahmed al-Fishawy, Karim Assem, Ahmed Dawood and Eyad Nassar.
The ‘Welad Rizk’ series revolves around the story of four brothers who resort to illegal activities to improve their financial situation. They find themselves embroiled in dangerous criminal activities and face various challenges as they navigate the criminal underworld.
In the third entry, years have passed and the brothers have since gone their seperate ways. However, a ghost from the past returns to cast a shadow over them, forcing them to return to a life of crime in order to save themselves and pull off their biggest heist of all.
