Judicial sources said on Thursday that the man suspected of spying for Israel has admitted that he sent Mossad important information about certain officials and government bodies in Jordan.
He also admitted that he has been working for the Mossad for years, say the sources.
The Egyptian authorities relayed the suspect's testimony to their Jordanian counterparts.
The sources also said the 34-year-old suspect denied the involvement of any Egyptians in his work. His lawyers said he was not spying but was just recording phone calls and sending them to Israel.
The suspect also confessed that he used the electronic bugging devices that were seized by police in his home.
