Q: Was Field Marshal Amer murdered or did he commit suicide?
A: (Laughing) of course he was murdered. Why would he commit suicide? He and Nasser were like brothers.
Q: But how can someone kill his brother?
A: It was not Nasser. It was those around him.
Q: Could anyone do so without referring to the president first?
A: Very difficult indeed, but I know how much Nasser loved him.
