A statement issued by the Italian embassy in Cairo said that an Italian military plane will land in Cairo airport on Sunday carrying around 100 Egyptians who were stranded in Tunisia having fled Libya.
The statement said this is one of various steps the Italian government is taking to support Egypt.
The plane, which is the second to carry out this mission, will arrive by 4 PM in Cairo. The first arrived on Saturday also carrying 100 Egyptians coming from Tunisia.
About 53,000 Egyptians so far have returned through the Salloum border crossing, while about 20,000 have crossed to Tunisia to escape the violence.
According to news reports at least ten Egyptians have been killed in Libya since the start of demonstrations on February 17 calling for the overthrow of leader Muammar Qadhafi.
