Despite a temporary ceasefire in place, Israel’s occupation army has continued its march of violence across several areas.
The Israeli army opened fire in the vicinity of Al-Rantisi Hospital in the Gaza Strip to prevent citizens from returning to their homes, carrying out its threat to prevent displaced citizens from returning home. It also declared the north a “war zone,” while the Al-Arabiya channel documented attacks against fleeing Palestinians attempting to return home.
Snipers fired at residents, killing three Palestinians and wounding 15 others who were taken to nearby hospitals, according to Reuters.
Al Jazeera also announced in a breaking news report that seven Palestinians were injured in gunfire by Israeli occupation army forces on citizens who tried to return to the northern Gaza Strip.
The numbers of injured report continues to vary, as no official statements have been announced by both sides so far.
Video clips documented the exit of Israeli military vehicles from the Gaza Strip during the first few hours of the truce, which began on seven am local and will last for four days.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health indicated in an urgent report to the Al-Arabiya Palestine Channel that even despite the truce, the Israeli army has not yet left the Al-Shifa Hospital.
An Egyptian source confirmed that there are talks with Israel and Hamas to stabilize the truce agreement and prevent violations, Sky News Arabia reported on Friday morning.
Palestinian factions confirmed their commitment to stop military and missile operations during the truce – so long as Israel adheres to a ceasefire.
