Ismailia governor’s bike stolen after ‘No for Sexual Harassment’ marathon

 

The bike of Major General Ahmed al-Qassas, Ismailia Governor, was stolen on Thursday upon end of a marathon entitled ‘No for Sexual Harassment’ organized by the Egyptian Family Planning Association (EFPA) in the governorate.

Participants rode their bikes for two kilometers on the Suez Canal coast, raising banners on forms of harassment and who the harassers are

At the end of the marathon, brochures with methods of protection against harassment as well as the physical and psychological impacts on women.

EFPA had rented the governor’s bike from a store that rents bikes for LE200.
