Iraqi Chief of Staff Babacar Zebari arrived in Cairo on Thursday, heading a military delegation from Baghdad to meet with senior officials of the armed forces and discuss cooperation in training, arming and confronting terrorism.
The delegation is also attending the second meeting of Arab chiefs of staff at the Arab League on Saturday to implement a decision taken at the Arab summit in Sharm El-Sheikh to establish a joint Arab force.
