The Bahraini Ministry of Interior announced that Iran has struck the Crowne Plaza Hotel in its capital, Manama, on Sunday.
The hotel reportedly houses several US embassy employees stationed in the Bahraini capital.
In a brief statement, the ministry confirmed that the attack resulted in material damage to the building, with no reported casualties.
Following the incident, the US Embassy in Manama announced that all American personnel successfully evacuated the Crowne Plaza.
Security cordons have been established around the area as investigations continue.
