The body of an unidentified foreign woman was found floating near a beach just north of Egypt’s Red Sea resort town Hurghada.
An official claim of the incident was filed and prosecutors were notified to begin investigation.
Preliminary investigations of the body estimated that the woman was in her fifties. She died an asphyxial death, presumably from drowning in the sea.
