International artists unveil works at Giza’s “Forever is Now” exhibition

The Giza Pyramids area witnessed the launch of the fifth edition of the “Forever is Now” exhibition, held under the patronage of the Ministries of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Foreign Affairs, the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, and UNESCO. The event is organized by the CultuRator-Art D’Égypte foundation.

The launch was attended by Engineer Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion; Dr. Zahi Hawass, former Minister of Antiquities; and an elite group of diplomats, intellectuals, media professionals, and public figures.

The opening ceremony featured the participation of Italian fashion designer Angela Missoni, Turkish actress Esra Bilgiç, designer Ben Oueda, and artists including Hussein Fahmy, Joumana Murad, Tamer Hagras, and Abo, as well as members of the international jury for the Cairo International Film Festival.

The exhibition, which runs until December 6, presents the works of ten international artists. These works were specifically designed to suit the Pyramids site and reflect Egypt’s renewed heritage and the universal language of art, sending a message that emphasizes the fusion of dialogue between Egyptian antiquity and modern artistic innovation.

Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Head of the Egyptian Museum, emphasized in his speech the important role played by artistic events, including the “Forever is Now” exhibition, in highlighting Egyptian culture and civilizational heritage.
