Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim made a surprise visit to Ismailia and Port Said security directorates. He also visited the Suez Canal and the Cairo-Ismailia and Cairo-Port Said highways.
Ibrahim said he was dissatisfied with the level of police presence in Ismailia. He reportedly appointed a new security chief for the governorate following the visit.
Meanwhile, in Port Said, the minister appointed a new deputy security director.
