An uproar has erupted on Facebook as users have begun voicing their frustrations over the InstaPay application.
Complaints have ranged from the introduction of unexpected fees to sudden app crashes and even mysterious deductions from user accounts.
InstaPay responded via its official Facebook page with an important announcement revealing the cause of the sudden outage.
“Dear customer, we would like to inform you that the InstaPay application is working normally. Your experience may be affected due to updates being carried out by some banks,” the page wrote.
Addressing customer complaints about funds being deducted from their balances, an InstaPay page administrator responded to one comment: “Please contact your bank and send them the transaction reference number so they can investigate the matter and resolve the issue.”
