For the second time, Information Minister Salah Abdel Maqsoud has created controversy when he answered Nahar TV reporter Dalia Ashraf’s question on the development of television by saying, “Come, and I’ll show you where the development is.”
This came during the conference held in the Information Ministry to talk about his achievements in the development of various sectors of television since his held the ministry.
Ashraf only responded by saying “these words should not be uttered by a minister.”
Abdel Maqsoud raised controversy earlier this month when he said almost the exact same statement, which carries a sexual connotation, to another reporter, something which was considered by many observers to be sexual harassment.
