Ashok Kantha, Indian deputy foreign minister for Middle East and north Africa affairs, arrived in Cairo on Saturday coming from Dubai for a two-day visit.
Diplomatic sources said the Indian official will meet with others from Foreign Ministry of Egypt and Arab League to resume talks by Foreign Minister Nabil al-Araby, the league chief and Nabil Fahmy, foreign minister during their visit to India earlier this month.
The talks will tackle methods to boost cooperation boost Arab, Egyptian, Indian cooperation as well as developments of situations in the Middle East region especially peace process and the Syrian issue.
