The Miss World 2018 Committee for Tourism and Environment has chosen Hurghada in the Red Sea governorate to host the Miss World 2018 competition in March 2019.
Head of the committee Amal Rezq clarified that Hurghada was the best choice to host the competition after it has won several tourist prizes and ranked among the 10 best tourist destinations worldwide.
Rezq added that competitors from 100 countries would participate in the competition for one week in an unidentified tourist village of Hurghada.
Egypt hosted 55 beauty queens from different countries in April in the Red Sea’s Marsa Alam to compete for the Miss World Competition for Tourism and Environment.
The beauty queens visited Alexandria’s Montaza Palace, the Pyramids of Giza and other tourist sites before they headed to South Sinai’s Marsa Alam.
