Hurghada International Airport receives first flight from Poland

Hurghada International Airport received the first flight from Katowice Airport in Poland, while and Marsa Matrouh International Airport also received the first charter flight from Poland.

As part of the revitalization efforts of air and tourist traffic in Egyptian tourist cities, Hurghada International Airport received on Friday the first flight of the Polish company Buzz airline coming from Katowice Airport in  Poland, carrying 190 passengers.

Two flights are scheduled to be operated a week from Katowice Airport.

Marsa Matrouh International Airport also received the first Smart Wings flight from Poland.

The two planes were received by a water salute and a public relations team at Hurghada and Marsa Matrouh airports received the passengers and completed their arrival procedures with ease.

Flyers and propaganda materials about the Egyptian tourist cities and souvenirs were distributed to them.

LOT Polish Airlines, the Polish national carrier, began operating its flights from Warsaw Airport in Poland to Cairo International Airport on Thursday at a rate of five regular weekly flights, and Ryanair Holdings started operating its flights from Warsaw and Katowice airports to Hurghada International Airport at a rate of two flights a week.
