Hurghada International Airport received on Friday the Nordwind company’s first flight coming from Russia after a six-year halt.
The flight was carrying 217 passengers. The company will make one flight per day, seven flights per week, subject to increase in the coming period.
The airport administration organized a special reception for the plane by spraying water on it, welcoming the return of the company.
The airport’s public relations team facilitated arrival procedures and ensured that the passengers had their PCR tests, while applying all health and preventive measures to the passengers and adhering to social distancing in order to preserve the safety of the airport’s workers.
