Humid hot weather expected Thursday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects humid hot weather on Thursday in the north and in northern Upper Egypt.

The weather will be very hot in the southern part of Upper Egypt during the day, but moderate at night, the authority said in a statement Wednesday.

 
Low-level and medium-level clouds will appear on the north coast. Clouds will be more intense along the Sinai and Red Sea mountain chains, accompanied by rain. 
 
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in Egypt's north.
 
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate and will be active in the west accompanied by dust that might create a dust storm. It will be active as well in west of the Red Sea, disrupting navigation.
 
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be between 2-3 meters high, with southwesterly surface winds.
 
Waves in the Red Sea will be between 1-2 meters high, with northwesterly surface winds.
 
Expected maximum temperatures on Tuesday: Cairo: 34C, Alexandria: 33C, Hurghada: 35C, Luxor: 36C, Aswan: 37C.
