
The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects temperatures to rise again on Monday, with warm weather prevailing during the day in the north of the country and growing hotter in the south.
Temperatures will noticeably grow cooler by night and the early morning.
Weather maps predict that Egypt will experience a summer heat wave.
Despite the rising temperatures, the EMA advised citizens to keep wearing heavy clothing during the night and early morning hours, as the weather will remain cold throughout the country at night.
Active, intermittent winds are expected in parts of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the North Coast, and South Sinai especially in exposed areas.
Temperatures on Monday:
- Alexandria: 24C
- Cairo, Hurghada: 25C
- Sharm el-Sheikh: 26C
- Luxor and Aswan: 33C
