Hot, windy weather on most parts of Egypt on Monday

Meteorologists predict hot weather during the daytime on Monday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and Red Sea Mountains, while moderately hot on the northern coasts and central Sinai, and very hot on Upper Egypt.

The weather will be moderately cold at night in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt, cold on the northern coasts and central Sinai and moderate on southern Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and Red Sea Mountains.

A, member of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority’s media center Manar Ghanem said on Sunday that starting from Tuesday, there will be a very noticeable rise in temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday, with the maximum in Greater Cairo reaching 38C, but starting next week temperatures will ease.

 

Maximum temperatures-

Alexandria: 30C

Cairo: 32C

Sharm el-Sheikh: 33C

Hurghada: 34C

Qena: 39C

Luxor: 40C

Aswan: 41C

 

The weather will be partially cloudy on all parts of the country, except Upper Egypt, South Sinai, and Red Sea Mountains.

Active winds are expected across all of the country except Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northeastern to southeastern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height, with northwestern to northeastern surface winds.
