Hot weather temperatures across Egypt predicted on Tuesday, Wednesday

Meteorologists announced high weather temperatures for a period of 48 hours across Tuesday and Wednesday.

Meteorologists advised citizens not to wear light clothes and to wear autumn clothes during daylight hours and winter clothes at night.

Hot weather will prevail on Tuesday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the northern coasts, and southern Upper Egypt with cold weather at night.

Rain may fall on Tuesday at some parts of the northern and southern coasts of the Red Sea Governorate (Halayeb and Shalateen) at intermittent periods.

Satellites monitored formations of high clouds in the central and southern regions of Egypt, while low clouds appeared on the north of the country and the south of the Red Sea.

Winds are generally expected to be light to moderate, and active on the Gulf of Suez and the northern Red Sea.

The Mediterranean Sea, the two Gulfs, and north of the Red Sea at night will be relatively turbulent,

Mists and possible fogs are predicted in some interior regions of the north during the morning.

 

Maximum temperatures predicted on Tuesday:

Alexandria: 24C

Cairo: 26C

Qena, Luxor: 31C

Aswan: 32C
