Egypt’s meteorologists predict hot weather on Lower Egypt, Cairo and northern Upper Egypt, with higher temperatures expected on southern Upper Egypt for Monday during the daylight, growing milder throughout by night.
Maximum temperatures expected for the following cities are 28C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
Mild weather is also expected along the northern coasts.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning from the country’s northern parts. Low and medium-level-clouds will cover the northern parts, accompanied by rainfall on South Sinai.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 and 2 meters. Northwestern surface winds are expected on both seas.
