The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expects moderate weather on Friday in the northwest and hot weather in the northeast, Lower Egypt, Cairo and north Upper Egypt.
The weather will be very hot in the southern part of Upper Egypt during the day, but moderate at night, the authority said in a statement Thursday.
Low-level and medium-level clouds will appear along the west coast, accompanied by heavy rain.
Winds will be mostly southwesterly and will be active in the north and the Mediterranean Sea, disrupting navigation.
Expected maximum temperatures on Tuesday: Cairo: 35C, Alexandria: 28C, Hurghada: 36C, Luxor: 38C, Aswan: 38C.
