Meteorologists predict hot weather to continue on Thursday across Egypt.
Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures predicted for southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, growing mild by night.
Temperatures predicted include 30C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 40C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in the north, accompanied by light rainfall on western coasts and parts in South Sinai.
Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough between 2 to 2.5 meters high.
Surface winds will be northwestern for both seas.
