Meteorologists expect hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, very hot temperatures in Upper Egypt during daytime and moderate weather along the northern coasts on Monday.
The weather will grow milder at night across the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low and medium-level clouds predicted.
Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active on different parts and blowing up sand and dust on South Sinai, Upper Egypt, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two to 2.5 meters in height with northeastern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to two meters, with northwestern surface winds.
