Meteorologists predict moderate weather for Egypt’s northern coasts on Monday and hot weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt.
Very hot temperatures will prevail across southern Upper Egypt during the daytime, while the weather will grow milder at night throughout the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31C in Alexandria, 34C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and 39C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low and medium-level clouds anticipated.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active on Cairo, northern Upper Egypt and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to two meters in height, with northeastern to southeastern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two to 2.5 meters, with northwestern surface winds.
