Meteorologists predict hot weather on Monday during the daytime on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, with mild weather on the northern coasts, and very hot weather at southern Upper Egypt.
By nightfall the weather will grow moderately cold on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, while mild at Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo and Hurghada, 38C in Sharm el-Sheikh, 43C in Qena, 44C in Luxor and 45C in Aswan.
Mist is expected during the morning hours at Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate across most of Egypt, active on the northwestern coasts and northern Upper Egypt.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging one and 1.5 meters in height. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging 1.5 and two meters in height. Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
