Meteorologists expect hot weather to prevail Sunday in Cairo’s, Lower Egypt, and Northern Upper Egypt; while extreme hot weather remains in Southern Upper Egypt. Temperatures are expected to return to mild across all regions in the evening.
Sunday, the maximum temperature predicted for Cairo is 36C. Nice weather is anticipated along the North Coast, with maximum temperatures of 31C in Alexandria.
Low- and medium-level clouds foreseen to appear above the North Coast. Mist will affect visibility in the morning, especially in northern parts. Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface wind will be northwesterly in both seas.
Other high temperatures across Egypt include; Qena: 39C, Luxor: 41C, and Aswan: 42C.
