Meteorologists expect hot weather on Monday across Egypt, with very high temperatures in southern Upper Egypt, and more moderate on the North Coast.
Temperatures predicted are 45C in Aswan, 44C in Luxor, 43C in Qena, 36C in Cairo and 28C in Alexandria.
Low and medium-level clouds will appear over the northern parts of the country, with mist affecting visibility in the morning.
Winds are expected to be mostly northeasterly and moderate in strength. They will be active throughout South Sinai, the Red Sea governorate, and the Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height.
Surface winds will be northwestern in both seas.
