Hot weather expected for Wednesday, Cairo 33C

Meteorologists anticipate hot weather on Wednesday across Egypt, with rainfall in some parts of Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt.

Milder temperatures are expected along the North Coast, with very hot temperatures in southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours, growing colder by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 31C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 40C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in different parts of the country, accompanied by rainfall on the northern coasts, South Sinai, and Halayeb and Shalateen.

Winds are expected to be southwesterly and moderate. They will be active in the western parts of the country, blowing up sand and dust there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with southwesterly surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meter in height with southeasterly surface winds.
