Meteorologists anticipate increasing temperatures on Tuesday across the country’s northern coasts, with the weather growing hot in the country’s remaining parts in the daylight and cold at night.
Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are 27C in Alexandria, 31c in Cairo, 33C in Luxor, 33C in Qena and 34C in Aswan.
Low and medium-level clouds will cover Egypt, accompanied by thunderstorms and rains all over the country while torrents are expected to fall in Sinai and the Red Sea mountains.
Winds will be almost southeasterly in direction and raise sands and dusts in western Egypt, Lower Egypt, Cairo, northern Upper Egypt.
Winds will also be active and disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough and range between 2.5 to 3 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with southeasterly surface winds in both seas.
