Meteorologists predict hot weather for the western and eastern coasts on Thursday and very hot weather for the country’s remaining parts during daylight.
Temperatures will grow colder by night throughout the country.
Maximum temperatures predicted are: 34C in Alexandria, 41C in Cairo, 43C in Qena, 43C in Luxor and 43C in Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility during morning hours in the northern parts of the country until northern Upper Egypt. Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated for the northern coasts and several southern parts, accompanied by rainfall in Halayeb, Shalateen and the Red Sea mountains.
Winds will mostly be moderate and southwesterly.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height with northwesterly surface winds.
