Meteorologists predict hot weather on Sunday across Egypt.
Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures at southern Upper Egypt during daylight hours, cooling by nightfall.
Temperatures predicted include 30C in Alexandria, 33C in Cairo, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor, and 40C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in the north.
Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on the South Sinai, Gulf of Suez, and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height.
Surface winds will be northwestern for both seas.
