Meteorologists expect moderate weather for northern coasts on Monday with hot weather in Cairo and Lower Egypt and very hot temperatures across the southern parts of the country during daytime. The weather will grow milder by night across the country.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 31C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 42C in Qena, 45C in Luxor, and 44C Aswan.
Mist will impact visibility during morning hours in the northern parts. Low- and medium-level clouds are anticipated in most parts of the country, accompanied by light rainfall in the far west and parts of Upper Egypt.
Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active in the Sinai, Lower Egypt, northern Upper Egypt, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern to northeastern surface winds. Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 and 2.5 meters high, with northwestern surface winds.
