Meteorologists expect hot weather to ease notably across most of the country on Sunday, with mild temperatures across the northern coasts up to northern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will continue to be in the hot range in southern Upper Egypt, dropping to cooler temperatures at night across all parts.
Visibility will be low in the morning due to dense mist throughout Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities and northern coasts.
Low- and medium-level clouds will increase over northern coasts, accompanied by rainfall in some areas.
The wind, mostly northwesterly and moderate, will be active over most parts, blowing up sand and dust over Sinai, Gulf of Suez, Mediterranean and Red Sea, leading to disruption of navigation there.
Maximum temperatures expected on Sunday are 27C in Cairo, 24C in Alexandria, 40C in Luxor and 40C in Aswan.
