Meteorologists predict hot weather on Monday during the daytime on Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderately high weather on the northern coasts, and very hot weather on Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
The weather will grow mild across most parts of Egypt at night, with moderate temperatures on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 42C in Luxor and Aswan.
Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.
Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of the country, active on South Sinai and disrupting maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez.
It will also be active on some parts of northern Upper Egypt, blowing up sand and dust.
Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-90 on the northern coasts, 28-75 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 22-60 in northern Upper Egypt, and 14-30 at southern Upper Egypt.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1. 5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height.
Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
